Built from the foundation of SOS K9 Training, the academy is designed for those who want more then just theory. We focus on understanding dogs in real life situations, developing handler skills, building confidence, and creating relationships between dogs and handlers.

SOS K9 Academy students all learn through 121 hands on experience, guidance and structured development, not just online or classroom learning. I am a professional do i need to start at level 1 ?

No if you already are a professional, then you can pick a level, go through the paid assesment to see if you have the methodology, timing and knowledge to apply for the level you want to do.

Any videos you have to show this send over as part of assesment

How do you keep check? Is there a renewal fee after a year?

We monitor your business pages, you must send us vids to asses throughout the year. Yes there is a renewal fee/ assesment, if you want to level up at the end of the year then you dont need to renew or assement, just apply for next level.

Is it really all in person? is any of it online?

Its 100% in person here in Gorleston area. The theroy test is in person, the practical test is in person and all training is in person ( we are proud of this, because this matters!).

The only thing online is support via vids, studies and pdfs

What key things should i know about the academy?

Our certificates cannot be brought, only earned.

If you fail, you get a retake at a discount.

we offer a private payment plan but 50% must be paid upfront.

Passing our course doesnt mean employment by SOS K9 or use of our material/logo/etc

Your certificate can be revoked due to poor handling!

You will be featured on our website so clients can verify your credentials.
